Sits higher on the waist if this is your size, lower if you're smaller. Waist is just over 26. The hip is a little farther down than can be definitively measured because of the construction of the skirt with the panels that open up. There is enough overlap of the layers that it's not obscene to actually wear and walk around in. Only our dear genius Karl and his Chanel seamstresses could pull this off.
Measured 7" down from the waist, about where the panels open up, the piece is about 17-1/2" measured lying flat. Overall length is about 39, so depending on your height the length is either midi or maxi. The panels swing and swish as you walk and wear it, without over-exposing.
Chanel logo plate at the waist in the front. Stored in the dark, away from dust and light. No smokers, children or pets in the household.
